What is the NightOwl Classic?
The NightOwl Classic is a non-competitive bike ride along the Mississippi River at dusk. The ride will start and finish at historic St. Anthony Main and tour some of the Twin Cities’ most well known landmarks along the river, all with the back drop of the twinkling skyline. NightOwl Classic riders will choose from one of three flights:
• A 3.5-mile"Mini-Hoot" beginning at 7:00 pm
• An 8.5-mile "Family Flight" at 7:30pm - we encourage children, families and less experienced riders to take the
3.5 or the 8.5 mile ride.
• A 16.5-mile “Hoot Loop” at 7:30pm - a longer rider for more experienced and city curious riders"

"The Breast Cancer Ride, in its fourth year, benefits Open Arms of Minnesota and Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Minnesota Affiliate, will take place August 6-7, 2011. This two-day fundraising Ride will start and stop at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. A safe and beautiful southern route has been selected to take Riders down to our overnight campsite, Treasure Island Resort and Casino."
"There is no better way to appreciate the quiet beauty of the roads in this part of Minnesota than by bicycle. The tour begins and ends at the HI-Mississippi Headwaters Hostel in the heart of Itasca State Park. The routes follow the Wilderness Road through the park, and then venture out into the local forest and countryside. The roads are quiet, well paved, and wonderfully scenic. The ride ends with a BBQ meal at the hostel. Make a weekend of it and bring the family. This is a wonderful family event. Join us in 2011."
